De Rotterdamse voetbalclub Excelsior heeft de plannen voor een multifunctioneel stadion met woningen opgeschroefd: meer zitplaatsen en nóg meer appartementen erbij. Met de ontwikkeling van honderden woningen hoopt de club op een stabiele inkomstenbron in de grillige voetbalwereld. „We willen minder afhankelijk worden van een balletje binnen- of buitenkant paal.”
