De overval op het Rotterdamse politiebureau Haagsche Veer is een van de indrukwekkendste acties van het verzet in Nederland. Op 24 oktober 1944 werden 43 gevangenen bevrijd. De vader van choreograaf Feri de Geus, Jan de Geus (1919-1998), speelde bij die overval een hoofdrol. Nu speelt Feri op 2, 3, 4 en 5 mei in hetzelfde politiebureau zijn voorstelling Het verzet in mij.
