Een lintje krijgen is voor de meeste mensen een hele eer, maar wist je dat zelfs bomen zo’n onderscheiding kunnen krijgen? Nou, soort van dan. Zo kreeg een oude treurwilg aan de Valkeniersweide in Vreewijk van de gemeente een speciaal lintje en de naam ‘Gastvrije buur van de stadsnatuur’. De Rotterdamse bomendeskundige van de gemeente Ronald Loch legt uit waarom dat hem zo blij maakt.
